Even though there’s no dialogue, everything else about this beautiful film is heightened to a point that it makes you feel so strongly about what is happening. There’s no love story but it has drama, friendship, comedy, hell there’s even a gut wrenching fight scene. Flow is a very cute & riveting journey. In a year filled with Pixar & Dreamworks home runs, Flow’s animation doesn’t really shimmer the same amount of fire as those movies but at most likely a quarter of the budget and even less marketing, for Flow to even be in the conversation of great animated movies for me is an absolute marvel.
Flow is fun time and a film that really makes you appreciate the art of film making on any medium. A great movie for me to end my year with.
